the where, 1996-present:
I was born in China, and have lived in Florida, Indiana, New Mexico, DC, Virginia, and Maryland. I also spent a summer living abroad in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Now I’ve come full circle, living in sunny Miami :)

My husband Taylor and I met in college at Georgetown University (Hoya Saxa!). We are proud pet parents to Charlemagne, Napoleon & Maurice—a truly fluffy family—and welcomed a daughter Ariadne in 2023.
the hobbies:
You can usually find me planning my next trip: passport always in hand, checking out a local coffee shop (for the iced chai), and staying in the hotel room with the best clawfoot bathtub.
My love of photography started when I got my first DSLR as a Christmas present. Soon after, I co-founded my high school’s photography club and started taking portraits of my classmates. After college, I was introduced to film photography and immediately embraced the slower medium. I love the grain, the intentionality, and the vivid colors.
